Teachers
Mr. Ross
My name is Adam Ross.
This is my first year at Carmel Middle School and I am very excited to
be here! I previously taught middle school PE/Health at South Middle School in
Muncie. I taught there for 6 years, but
I live in Fishers and wanted something closer to home. I have been married 3 years and my wife Jessi
and I have 2 beautiful daughters Taylor and Allie. In my spare time I love to play golf, read
books to my kids, and play out in the neighborhood or at the pool. I am very excited to be a part of Carmel
Middle School and the Explorers team!

Ms. Stroh
Hello!
I'm the Explorers Social Studies teacher and am an assistant track and
cross country coach. When I'm not at school, I enjoy running, listening to live
music, and trying almost any outdoor activity. I also have an adorable niece
and nephew that I love to spend time with.

Mr. Jurek
Hello Everyone! My name is Aaron Jurek and this is my eighth year teaching for Carmel Clay Schools. As a Clay Junior High and Carmel High graduate, it is an honor to be teaching sixth grade science at Carmel Middle School. I am also an 8th grade football coach and track and field coach. 2015-2016 is going to be a great year! |
Have you ever heard of "The
Tunnel of Death" or Tajikistan? This past summer, I was able to
travel to Tajikistan and go through a mountain tunnel that many people refer to
as The Tunnel of Death! Traveling is one of my favorite things to
do. When I cannot travel, I enjoy dreaming of places to visit, and I
enjoy talking with people about the places they have visited. Reading is
another activity that I enjoy. In the summer I may frequently be found
with my nose in a good mystery. I recently finished a series by Alyss
Claire. I also enjoy doing other things like biking, walking, and
spending time with family and friends.
My family is a great joy and support to me. My husband Scott and I have two high school aged boys, Eric and Ian. We also have two additional members important to our family: standard poodle Ivy and Butler, an orange cat. All of us enjoy time outdoors! My boys are avid swimmers and are enthusiastic Flow Riders at the Monon Center. Just like their mom, my sons are great travelers; the three of us made the long trip to Tajikistan together in. Scott stayed happily at home to soak up the peace and quiet and to care for Ivy and Butler. I have been a teacher in Carmel Clay Schools since 1995. Since that time, I have taught several different subjects such as: German, English As New Language, and Reading. Although I have had the opportunity to teach both high school and middle school students. I LOVE working with the students at Carmel Middle School. I am excited about teaching Sixth grade Language Arts this year and getting to work with YOU! |
